Introduction
Messages & SMS Forwarder ("the App") is developed by MWORX. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
🔒 Your messages are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your SMS content.
Data We Collect
The App requires certain permissions to function:
- SMS Permissions: Read, send, and receive SMS messages - required for core messaging functionality
- Contacts: Access your contacts to display names in conversations
- Storage: Save and attach media files to messages
- Location: Share your location in messages (only when you choose to)
Premium Features - Message Forwarding
If you enable message forwarding (Premium feature):
- Telegram Forwarding: Messages are sent to the Telegram Bot API using your Chat ID. We do not store your messages on our servers.
- Email Forwarding: Messages are sent via our email service (Resend) to your verified email address. Messages are transmitted but not stored.
You control forwarding. You can disable it anytime in Settings.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following services:
- Google Play Billing: Process in-app purchases for Premium features
- Google Mobile Ads: Display advertisements (free version only)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Deliver push notifications
- Telegram Bot API: Forward messages to Telegram (if enabled)
- Resend: Send verification emails and forward messages (if enabled)
Data Storage
- Local Storage: All SMS messages, contacts, and settings are stored on your device only
- No Cloud Sync: We do not upload or backup your messages to any cloud service
- Forwarded Messages: When you enable email forwarding, messages are transmitted through our email service provider (Resend) and may be retained in email delivery logs as required for service operation. Telegram forwarding sends messages directly to your Telegram account.
Data Security
- All API communications use HTTPS encryption
- Email verification codes expire after 10 minutes
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
Your Rights
- Uninstall the App anytime to remove all local data
- Disable forwarding features in Settings
- Revoke permissions through your device settings
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
